We are just a week away from the 2024 Oak Chan "Club OC Disco" Parent Dinner and Auction, that will be held on Friday, March 1st, at the Folsom Community Center in Folsom!!
So that you and your crew can plan ahead for some of the amazing auction items, know what to bring with you, etc… we wanted to send you a quick peek into what we have in store for the event! (Check out the bid book page for more details on this year's exciting Auction items!)

9:30 Cashier Opens
Attire – Dress to impress in your favorite seventies disco outfit or come relaxed and ready to have fun in your favorite Friday night out apparel! We can't wait to see you either way!
Payments – You are able to leave your credit card number upon check in to expedite check out but we will also gladly accept cash & checks.
Drinks – Champagne, beer, wine and signature cocktails will be available from 6 p.m. - 11 p.m.. Drink tickets are available for $5 per ticket. If you would like to bring your own wine there is a $20 corkage fee and can be paid at the entrance.
Bid Numbers - Upon check in, you will receive your assigned bid card and wristbands with your bid number. Use this number to purchase drink tickets, Teacher Time raffle tickets, bid on silent auction items, the dessert dash and during the live auction.
Wine Pull
1) Check out our wine pull game where members of the community and our generous local wineries and business members have generously donated bottles of wine valued at a minimum of $20!
2) Use your bidder number or cash to choose a number - that number can be redeemed at the end of the night for an amazing bottle of wine! We have donations from Rombauer, Willamette, Daou and more!
Dessert Dash!! – YUM!! – In the event that you are a newbie, here’s the scoop:
1) Preview the delicious desserts donated by Oak Chan families and local businesses and decide which desserts your table likes best.
2) Utilize the Dessert Dash envelope on your table to collect donations from everyone at your table. Note your name, bid number and amount donated on the envelope. You can use your bid number and pay at the end of the evening or you can put cash or check in the envelope.
3) Choose a table representative to dash to get your dessert!
4) The order in which the tables get to dash for their desserts is based on how much each table bids – highest to lowest. So bid high!!
5) Share the dessert with your table! Plates, napkins and utensils will be provided.
End of the Evening - When the auctions have closed and the evening is wrapping up… you will visit the Check Out Room to collect your items.
Plan ahead to get home safe! Have a designated driver, carpool together, or use Uber, Lyft (or similar service!).
A special Thank You to all of our local business and community members who donated, to friends and family for their time and patience, and our Parent Dinner and Auction Committee and the Oak Chan PTO for their support! We are looking forward to another successful evening and thank you very much for supporting Oak Chan Elementary School and the PTO.
